Poem - A World In A Different Light
"A World In A Different Light"
dull and transparent wings.
Looking at the those wings,
I had a sudden thought.
So I plucked one and looked
at the world through it.
Seeing through the wing of a cicada.
I saw the world in a different light.
Hazy and dim like a fog across a sphere.
But when I thought of the darkness
that covers the world, I could not
help but wonder;
Maybe what I saw through the wing
of the cicada was this worlds
true face—dark and ugly.
