Top 10 Reasons Why I Love Steemit!

I have been on

Steemit.com / www.steemit.com

for around 2 months. I have had a huge amount of fun. It's been great to find a place where you can post. Even though I seem to get some minor trolling. It still not as bad as other sites. Overall, even though Steemit is new, and in the beta stage still. I have found it really useful. Of course the biggest selling point is making money for content creation. Yes I came here because of that, yet early on I learned. It's not easy to make money. I have had a few of my posts to do really well, in my opinion. Thanks to the upvotes of @berniesanders @val-a @nextgencrypto @smooth @riverhead and many many more, so many I can't possibly list them all.

So let's get on to the Top 10 Reasons Why I love Steemit.com

Reason 10: Saves Work If Computer Crashes

That's right, just as I was creating this article. My system crashed and auto rebooted. I was pissed at first. I like using the simple editor. Now I love it. Saving your progress is rather amazing.

Reason 9: Simplicity

I like how simple everything is about Steemit so far. Easy to post, ease of moving steem around to exchanges and it's all around feel.

Reason 8: Innovative

Unlike other social platforms, this one has features not seen in other social platforms. The transparent holdings, wallet, in built Steem Exchange. All amazing features. Being able to see who, what, how and where every single action Steemit comes from.

Reason 7: Constantly Evolving

Since Steemit is still in the Beta Stages, we are all the testers in this new way of presenting content. All the interesting future upgrades can really propel this platform into something quite awesome.

Reason 6: Discovery

Being able to discover new talent is really fun. I do my best to follow every single person that follows me. It shows respect. It does get a little overloaded. Yet I find that one thing I love to do is to follow as many people as I can. I love to be able to hit the home button, then new. The finding new content creators to follow.

Reason 5: Open Source

Steemit being open source. So anyone can create an app,website,and etc. Using the api, and being able to combined it with future ideas. Like Video, Streaming, Gaming, and so much more. I have seen and used many of the apps in the app section. I love Steemwatch.com my favorite app so far. Still finding new ones everyday.

Reason 4: Contests

I never really entered any Art or Photography contest till I came to Steemit. I saw the SteemitPhotoChallenge and have entered it the last several weeks. It's fun to see so much other talent in the running. Thanks to @jamtaylor for running that contest. Also I enter a couple times to the @halo Art Challenge. It's really fun to enter these contest. I hope more of them will happen soon. Someday in the future I might have a contest. Thank you again @halo and @jamtaylor

Reason 3: Devs That Get Things Done

I have noticed a lot of changes lately to Steemit. Even though some of those things are controversial. I think @ned and @dantheman are heading in the right direction. Of course getting to a level of success will take some time, there will be bumps, obstacles, and issues to be dealt with. I have watched a few videos with them. @tatianamoroz and @dollarvigilante interviewed them. @ned and @dantheman have their critics, yet I will let the future play out and see what happens. Thanks for creating this interesting and fun platform.

Reason 2: Getting Paid For Your Own Content and Upvoting Others

The authoring and curating is interesting on Steemit. I like that one has a chance to make something on a post, even if it's only one cent. Commenting and Upvoting is the same. Of course not having the steempower will not yield much in returns. Yet I think it really comes down to either investing into steempower, or just hard work being consistent. Some have hit it fast, and some like most of us. It will take some time to gain the notice and audience from the Dolphins and Whales of steemit. I'm in this for the long haul! I do love this main feature of Steemit. When I post on Facebook or Tweet on twitter, I get zero chance to make anything. On Steemit, I got a chance. Which is so much better then none!

REASON 1:

THE PEOPLE!

That's right, I think the people I have gotten to share my work with and to converse with. This really is the main backbone of any Social Media Platform. Getting to see their content, upvote it, comment on it and seeing so much awesomeness. I want to think some of the people that have comment, followed , upvoted and so much more.
