The steemit challenge is going smoothly and we are all loving it. Thank God I have been able to participate in some if the challenges and today, I will also be dropping my entry on this wonderful challenge.

We all have what makes our delicacies tasty. There is always that special ingredient, that formula (according to SpongeBob and co) that makes your cooking taste differently. What is that ingredient? It will be so lovely for us to see others special ingredients. Let's ride on.

What is your favorite ingredient?

What is my favourite ingredient? Well I love this question. When I cook at home, I always wanna makes it tastes better than the ones any other person will cook in the family. There's always this competition in my family on who's the best cook. So on this, I always wanna stand out.
Even though the ingredient is common, it only takes magic hands like mine to make it deliciously delicious.

I always tell my friends; Look, when I'm done with my first degree I will set up a restaurant and make sure it ranks amongst the best in my state, Adamawa state, Nigeria.

Whenever I cook, I use GINGER as my cooking hack. For sure you'll perceive it in the food, but with a magic hand like mine, it will make it stand out.

No jokes guys, I have used this cooking ability, and with my favourite ingredient, I have been able to get a lot of girls on my side. They'll be like; "Charles can cook very well. His woman will be real proud and lucky to have him." Believe me, whenever they say something like this, my head will just be big and I'll be feeling like the boss.

Ginger is my best and favourite ingredient because it makes my cooking stands out. I'm a chef you know!!!
Yeah!!! I know some of you will be like, what's so special about ginger 🤨
Chill guys, that's my formula for cooking. It's a first class secret in cooking delicious meals mehhhn!!!

Is this ingredient often used in your home?

Yeah! Mostly my mom use it when she cooks. I got the secret from her, and now, she tells everyone in the neighborhood that she loves my cooking. Some even jokingly call me, the chef😂

When I'm cooking, I just need the right ingredients, with my magic ginger, then boom!!!! I bring in something new to y'all.

Later pounded it into powdery form.

Is this ingredient expensive? Share the price in your local currency and on Steem.

No!! Ginger is cheap in almost everywhere in my country. I'm also sure that the price of it in your various countries won't be expensive too. In Nigeria, you can buy a small quantity of ginger for at least 0.5 steem for your cooking.

Though it varies with location, but just be rest assured that the price range starts from either below 0.5 steem or 0.5 steem mark to the amount you want. The more the quantity, the more the money you'll pay.

What recipes do you prepare with your favorite ingredient? If you have photos, we would like you to share some with us.

I so love this question. I prepare Jollof rice with it. This is a type of dish in my country that is generally eaten everywhere. It is called the Nigerian Jollof rice, and it's one of the prides of the country when it comes to cooking or delicacies.

I prepared something sumptuous today...

What did I say??? Sumptuous right😂 yeah sumptuous with no meat nor fish.... No money to buy it. Nevertheless it was still sumptuous 😎

My friend, Benjamin took these photos of me, and he also ate with me. The first thing he said after tasting the food was; "Charles, did you put ginger in it?" I said yess!!! Then he said wow!!! He love the aroma and how the food tasted.

Hunger in my country has multiple uses, not only in the jollof rice stuff. You can also put it in some of our local drinks like kunu and zobo to add up some spice and flavor to it.

Conclusion

I really enjoyed myself doing this challenge and I have also seen lots of other entries. Honestly, I'm really enjoying myself on this platform. Thank you all and I hope and pray for someone that will just be like; Charles!!! I love your entry, take this 50 or 100 steem and use it to feel good. Yeah!!! I'll really feel good🥰🥰

Thank you all.... Thanks for reading my post till the very end.

Please note that all photos in this post were taken with my Redmi phone, my original photos.

I'm inviting @lilbiz-yl, @sasanka96, @roshi96 and @josepha to join this challenge.
