Steemit has the advantage of being the first platform and that will be hard to surpass by any new project. But competition is healthy in the markets, until now STEEM felt good and had all the power, because they had all the users. That´s about to change, as more and more quality projects are being announced and we will see them fighting between each other to have more users, which will imply constant development.
This is kind of the angle i was looking at it from."competition is healthy in the markets" Normal forces increased quality of product, delivery of base services, increased incentives or other rewards, etc. This also allows new chances for steemit users to reach out on other platforms and connect with new users and communities we may not otherwise have had the chance to connect with as well. As most platforms will have a unique market that we can share the Steem experience with as well. Thank you for your feedback.
Exactly and it will also allow smaller accounts on Steemit to start with a bigger chance of success, because everybody will start over again. (from zero for a small instant)
