Crowd Funded Miner Report - 05.01.2018
Hi guys!
I'm slowly finishing setting everything up. Still tweaking Awesome Miner settings, GPU overclocking etc. Gonna have to spend some time on CPU mining as it seems very picky about software running in the background. The good thing is that the rig is stable, no reboots or blue screens :)
Awesome Miner
We're gonna leave AM running for few days now and see what's the payout for 24H. I'm wondering if it can be lower than indicated because when the auto-profit switch changes the coin to mine, it does so for many miners. That means that before the coins are auto-sold, its price can already drop because of the increased supply (because everyone is mining and selling it). Than I will be able to compare it to NiceHash and decide which one is ultimately better.
Remember that I switch mining on/off to tweak things so the current payouts are not fully representative.
New GPU
The current post payouts should be enough to fund second GF1080 :) I will be ordering it tomorrow for my fiat money and wait for the rest of the payouts to come to cover the expense (about 40 SBD more needed). Hope SBD price wont drop significantly :D Also - the GF1080 uses only one power supply cable and the power supply we bought has 6 of them :D 850 Watts can be not enough for 6 top GPUs but maybe at least 4?:)
Open Case
Because of the 3 GPU setup incoming, I will be moving the rig to open case. Gonna visit some shops today to buy some plastic baskets + wooden planks and I will try to construct something sturdy enough :) Should help with the cooling.
Slow and steady wins the race. Whats your personal account? And how is tipu used. You are doing great..
