Corruption Starts at Home
It seems like everywhere we look, there is corruption. Where does it actually come from? It seems to be "out there", only "bad people" do it - but for something that is so prevalent, it must be more commonplace than we'd like to believe. Everything comes Back to Self.

It is true, most of the time we don't realize our mistakes and we externalize them.
It makes me think about the following, should we help our friends because they are our friends? Or should we simply help them if it is the right thing to do?
Because there is a big difference.
Doing the right thing is not always easy, and people usually avoid it if it's very difficult, but sometimes we must "not help" someone simply because it's not right. Even ours if they are part of our close circle.
If we choose to do something that is not right just to favor our friends, then we can not say that we are anything other than corrupt.
I see a common issue in my travels and that is that individualism is a conditioned response and not an actuality. People believe in individuality as a belief system while subconsciously practicing a level of group-think.
You may get people to agree with you on a point when you are with them alone. But get them with their friends and in different social settings and discover their behaviour and reactions become different.
What to do? Accept the way the group mind works and use it for what you want to achieve. Stop hitting our heads against the brick wall of the unproven belief that everyone is an individual.
