WHY BELLY FAT REFUSES TO GO
Lot of us would like to get rid of fats especially on the abdominal area. We struggle to lose weight and do some extreme dieting and workouts just to get rid of these fats. Unfortunately, lot of us fail to get the desired result due to the following reasons:
UNHEALTHY PROCESSED FOODS
Processed food increase inflammation in the body. Consuming too much sweetened drinks and eating crackers, chips and white bread will make us gain more weight instead of losing it. If you want to lose weight, take heathy food such as fruits and vegetables.
UNHEALTHY FATS
Consuming unhealthy fats especially saturated fat that can be found in dairy products and meat which have inflammatory properties, can contribute to gaining weight. If you want to lose or maintain weight, chose for fats that can be found in fish, olive oil, walnuts and avocados.
WRONG EXERCISES
Do a functional exercise that make use of our abdominal, back, pelvic, and oblique muscles. In this way, our calories will burn more because we use different kinds of our muscles to work. If you’re doing a wrong exercise, chances of you losing fat is little.
STRESS
When you are stress, you might resort to eat a high-calorie foods such as ice-cream and food that high in carbohydrate. Your cortisol level may also increase which is associated to development of visceral fats.
LACK OF SLEEP
Study on 70,000 women suggests that those who only sleep five hours or less can gain around weight about 30 pounds more than those sleep nine hours a day. This show that sleeping for less than six hours a day leads to weight gain.
AGE FACTOR
Day by day as we are getting old, our metabolic rate declines and this leads high chance of gaining weight. Women especially have the high possibility of gaining belly fats after menopause due to the decrease of progesterone and estrogen hormones.
