Confusing Comment

The other day, my daughter was at a school party with her friend. When her friend tried a slice of the chocolate cake that somebody had brought, my daughter asked her what she thought of it. Her response was "The chocolate cake tastes like your dad's truck smells." I am still left confused by this to this day.
