Our home pet

Today I will tell you about an unusual pet. It's a little tailless Anjouan mouse. The exterior looks like a hamster, but its coloring is slightly different. It is light gray-brown with darker stripes on the back. My nephew brought her home. When he returned from work in the evening, he saw in the subway that they were selling this mouse. A small gray lump, freely placed in the palm of your hand.

For some reason, everyone calls it just Mouse, although in fact it's a girl. So, I'll tell you about her. At once I will say that she is a terrible sleepwalker, and terribly does not like it when they wake her up. She's in a bad mood and she can slap your finger slightly if you stay a little longer in her cage. But when she finally wakes up and has a little refreshment, she goes to travel, we release her, and she starts to walk around the table or bed. Now she is kindly disposed and with great pleasure will fit into your hand, resembles you, peeks through all the holes, slits, gets into the package or box. And if she gets something interesting, in the form of a few sesame seeds, she dashing them in the back of her cheeks like a real hamster and will carry her home. And already in the cage will feast on his prey.

One evening, going home, I picked up a few acorns and during the walk Mouse threw her an acorn. You would have seen that she started to get up. Obviously, she really wanted to drag her prey to her, but her size did not allow to push this acorn into the cheek. But how she tried ... When all attempts were unsuccessful, she decided to drag this acorn to her home. At first she tried to drag him, then to push, roll ... We took pity on her and helped her to carry her burden. And next morning from the acorn nothing remained.

But nothing, along the way I saw chestnuts, and tonight I'll watch Mouse, will cope with them.
