Barbeque seson's not over!
We had a particularly warm day here in the South-Finland, so I decided to pretend it's summer and warm up the barbeque! Kinda bizarre to suddenly have what felt like 20 degrees outside when on the last days of my cycling tour there were sub zero nights already. But hey, if mother nature gives me one more warm day, hell, I'm gonna take it and enjoy while I can and take that little vitamin D available and do some cooking outside!
When I came from the store with my food, I passed next to my old primary school and saw the kids outside: some were playing football, some were observing it from the jungle gym (that's a badass word btw, just learned that), some were moral police and accusing the other for stepping beyond the boundaries outside the fence.
I mean, these kids, they have so much energy they spin around just for the sake of it. Some say that playing prepares them for adult life. I say that's a scam, cause what the fuck we adults do, work and then come home dying from stress. Playing? Shut the fuck up kid, daddy's way to tired for that shit right now.
Do you remember how dope everything was as a kid? You could be hyped pretty much about anything – getting home to play that kickass game, not getting homework for the day, or playing dodge ball on PE? Where did the magic go? Just gimme a fraction of that magic, would you please, cause I don't wanna start feeling dull about everything. I like food, but will that really be my only joy from now on? ;(
At least I'm enjoying my freedom.
Btw, why is the uploader retarded and puts the picture sideways even though it isn't so on my PC?
Yeah, I ate it all by myself – dad's not home. No, I'm not sad, because it meant more food for me. Though I'm still hungry. Sigh...
Oh, and as it seems to be the case that every time when I happen to talk about food in a post of mine, there's always someone:
But how was the food?
It's fucking good! Ok? There's only been a tiny proportion of food in my life I have encountered and not liked (lingonberry jam is one of those). And when I barbeque myself food, of course it's good. Understood? Good.
I cannot give you the taste experience anyway as long as we don't live in science fiction where we can transfer taste experiences directly to each others' taste buds, so I don't see much point in trying to describe my culinary experiences.
It tastes like... meat. Tasty meat... with... flavor... you know? Stuff... that makes it... good.

"Do you remember how dope everything was as a kid?"
I remember rushing from school to watch DBZ or Rurouni Kenshin...Good times...

For some reason this reminds me of:
Lol, that scene – freaky! But wouldn't be surprised if it was the future... Definitely understand your association to that 😄
Probably my second favorite moment in the whole movie. Right after The Three Seashells.
Now I think that mass effect had a strong inspiration from this movie😄
I have no idea what you talking about cause haven't seen the movie.
Haven't played Mass Effect, but have understood it's a good game, yes?
In my opinion mass effect is a weird series. I greatly enjoyed mass effect 1. I loved mass effect 2( probably in my top 10 of all time), disliked mass effect 3. and I have no intention of ever playing mass effect andromeda.
