MY JOURNEY INTO MOTHERHOOD, EXPERIENCE AND PREPARATION|| BY @CEENDY20

The journey into motherhood is a very interesting one. It has brought me to a point where I developed serious respect and love for all the mother's out there. It has showed me the difference between being a woman and going into motherhood. Even though it comes with a lot of stress and discomfort, the journey is worth it. Though am still on the journey,I will share my experience so far.

HOW IT ALL STARTED

After I got married on the 20th of September 2020, being last year. I was really excited about what comes next Becoming a Mum . I had my plans and that was to give birth to my kids and then face life. I didn't want to raise children in old age,I still have a lot to achieve in life. I was so excited,I couldn't wait, I shared my expectations with my husband and he was really cool about it.

But something happened. The first month after my wedding passed,the second months passed,the third passed and there was no sign of conception. I became really worried, I told my husband about my worry, he said I should calm down there was still time, but I couldn't calm down,I became desperate. I prayed and I took intentional steps for this purpose.

Some of the intentional things I did was:

1. Whenever I find myself in a public transport and I see a pregnant woman beside me,I pay her transport fare.

2. Whenever I see a woman carrying a child in the bus I pay her transport fare.

3. I spent time talking to God about it.

4. Lastly I went to my pastor's wife and a sowed a seed into her life, because she went through same experience and a longer one at that.

After this last step I took, the following month,I conceived. I took intentional steps and I got what i wanted in 3 Months time that's total of 6 months. It wasn't easy at the start during my first trimester,I was so sick and down that period but I stayed through. And since then I have been on this journey, and it's the most happiest period of my life,and I can't wait to have my baby.

During this period I had lots of help from friend who came around to visit, I had series of visitors which includes a visit I got from my leader @focusnow and @jovita30

GOING TO THE MARKET AND BUYING BABY STUFFS

Recently I visited the market to buy things needed for the baby which cost about 150 steem. It was an awesome experience buying those stuff,I felt so much joy in my heart. I went with a friend of mine @stephchinny who helped me in making good choices of the things I was supposed to buy.

Am still waiting and depending on God till the end. My husband has been the most supportive person ever in this journey and glad to be on this journey with him.

CONCLUSION

There are still more things to talk about but I will stop here for today,of course it's not a one day journey. I want to say thank you for visiting my post and I hope you learnt something. Learn to take intentional steps, because I have come to realize that, life is more spiritual than physical. Thank you once again.
