Another Morning, Another Coyote Camera Hunt
This time I got her on camera for a moment! Almost every morning she is in the backyard catcalling for my dog, sounds like she wants that big mastiff D 😂
She always runs off when I go outside in the mornings, but will try to interact with my dog when she can.
A few nights ago the same thing happened but there were at least 3 coyotes I could hear talking in the woods right next to us, closer than the video. So the big dog & I had ourselves a little midnight standoff at the edge of the woods & the coyotes did not back down.
I did a little war dance for them, but they didn’t seem impressed nor did they attack so we went back to the house with no incident. A great bonding experience for me & Bubba
The coyotes are much more brave at night with friends. But my dog & I still outweigh 10 coyotes so we protect our territory.
As I’m writing this, she’s back in the woods calling for my dog. I might just leave her some bacon & adopt her if she won’t leave us alone, but all in all it is a very nice way to start the day, interacting with the local free animals. They have no social security #, are born debt free, & hunt tax free wherever they like. That is freedom & I dig it

That is one awesome way to start the day. Definitely, keep her around if she decides to stay. That's amazing.

Chase that tail! Dogs chase their tails for a variety of reasons: curiosity, exercise, anxiety, predatory instinct or, they might have fleas! If your dog is chasing his tail excessively, talk with your vet.

I want to be friends with them, but where there’s one there’s more, seems to be a decent pack in the woods every late night trying to tempt my dog to chase them. By far the most coyote interactions I’ve ever had. They’ve never been so brave, I’m getting a little territorial, so maybe I’ll get some night vision goggles & build a tree fort for fun
