Hello Everyone, I wish you are well today. Welcome to my blog. I am going to share how to paint sunset using acrylic medium. I'm going to demonstrate the basic ideas how to paint step by step process.

Many artist loved to paint sunsets, this subject certainly one of the favorite type when it comes about painting. For me as an artist I like the vibrant colors and the calmnesr of the sunset.

In this post you are going to learm the basic principles of painting. like the contrast, balance and pattern of the painting is quite important.
About this painting we only used two types of brush and and four colors of paint. Definitely this tutorial is good for the beginners, they can easily follow and adopt the basic techniques in painting with acrylic.

Matrials Needed*
• Watercolor paper
• Pencil and Erazer
• Clean water
• Rag

• Flat Brush/small - #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
• Round brush - #8 / 5/32" / 4.0mm

• Titanium White
• Mars Black
• Lemon Yellow
• Brilliant Red

Methods:
1. Make an sketch.
2. Paint the background, (Brilliant red, lemon yellow and titanium white.) blend them together. You can use the flatbrush.
3. For the distance mountain, the color should be lighter, while the other one that is closer is more darker. You can use the flat brush in painting the mountains.
4. Use dark color dor the distance tress. and don't forget to put shaddows on the water. You can use flat brush.
5. You can use yellow, white and Red for the water. Just blend it well in order to create a calm water.
6. lastly is the boat. you can paint this one using black. To make it realistic don't forget to put the shaddow or the reflection of tbe boat on the water.
