Days of spring

Days of spring with my family. As we are somehow in a rural area, and we have a huge green field in front us to explore. My son, 6 years old, is an avid explorer of vegetation where snakes might be. Or lizards. My daughter is the opposite. Scared of anything that moves. So keeping them together while looking for snakes ( of course we didn't find any damn snakes, as is not their season anyhow ) was a challenge.

The greens though were a nice touch after the greyscaled winter. The field we explored, which is located exactly in front of our home, is impossible to build on, like anything, as it is crisscrossed by petrol tubes carrying the black gold from the hills in the back of my house to the nearest refinery, which is in Ploiesti city. Actually, I like it more like this. Wild, pristine. Though a westerner would say: why not a park? Well, why not wild and unattended?

Anyhow, was a good run. Snapped some photos also. Laughed a lot because of my kids. Between 4 and 8 years old they are a neverending source of laughing for the adults. Various questions like "From where do snakes get the poo out?!" and "Daddy, can you cook the tadpoles?" makes you forget all your worries and enter their quantum world, where anything is possible. And the rules, well, are always changing.
