Greetings steemians, it is my pleasure to give updates on my journey this morning to F.C.T(Federal Capital Territory) Abuja for SteemCamp Meeting all to promote steemit and also publicize Steemcamp.

In case you have not heard about SteemCamp, Steemcamp is steemit project aimed at promoting steemit in developing countries by helping gifted and talented citizens of these countries. It is aimed at using entertainment to achieve this aim.

Yesterday being Saturday 20th January 2018 was a hectic day for me and I slept around 2:00 AM this morning, I was awake because I was busy on discord doing what will do there.
So this morning while I was still in my dream world, I got a call from @akintunde and we briefly discussed about Steem and Steem Dollar rates. I decided to back to sleep so as to complete the call of nature, not up to 30 minutes after I slept off, I heard my phone ringing and it was @michaelcj calling.

Guess what he said! He said guy start taking your bath and meet me in Abuja. Immediately I picked out some clothes and arranged necessary items that will be needed.

I went out to fetch water as my water system is not working and I was shocked to find out that water was almost gone, like there was no water. I joined the queue to fetch water and after that I hurriedly took my bath dressed up. I was so in a hurry to cook, so I just ate some carrots and off I left my house.

I entered a tri-cycle that will take me to the train station, but when I called someone at the train station, he told me that there was no available train going to Abuja, immediately I had a change of plan I decided to make my journey using a public vehicle transport.

On my way to Leventis round-about where I almost got robbed the last time I traveled from Sapele to Kaduna, I stopped at the ATM(Automated Teller Machine) Gallery of Zenith Bank PLC to get some cash for my journey.

I got the money and headed to the Leventis round-about where I will get a vehicle going to Abuja Junction. It is at the Abuja Junction that I can get vehicle going to down to Abuja.

I finally got to where to the Leventis car stand and entered a vehicle going to the said Abuja junction. The short journey took about 20 to 30 minutes for me to get to the Abuja Junction. At the Abuja Junction I enterd another vehicle going to Abuja. Seriously the journey was not conducive, the sits where tight because we were sitting four at the back and I had a little shock because blood stopped flowing through my legs.

I was travelling to meet with @jacobite in Abuja at a place called Gwagwalada, I called him and he directed me to stop at Zuba and from Zuba I will take another vehicle going straight down to Gwagwalada. I finally arrived Zuba and entered a vehicle down to Gwagwalada as directed by @jacobite.

I FINALLY GOT TO MY DESTINATION

I finally got to Gwagwalada and I met @jacobite and other great steemians in the persons of @chrizy, @oguns, @roman3. Believe me this guys are awesome and fun to be with and I wish I was residing in Abuja to spend more time with them. While with these guys with there was fun in the air and we discussed and I told them about discord and how to be successful on steemit. I told them to try posting at least once a day and to try commenting on people post and as well learn to socialize.

After all said and done, I and @jacobite proceeded to where the Abuja SteemCamp Audition is meant to hold. It is at the popular Atlas Hotel in Gwagwalada.

Thence from there we headed down to Abuja main city where the intended meeting for which I took this journey was meant to hold. It is at Wuse Two. We got to Wuse Two and we met a guy called Emmanuel. He is @michaelcj friend and he was the person that took us to the hotel room where we lodged.

While we were in the hotel room, We received a call from @xpency and we gave him description of our where about and he met us there.

@xpency is one great steemian that adviced me on how to be successful on steemit. Now we are all in a room. @xpency, @jacobite, and myself @casweeney waiting for @michaelcj and @nmalove to arrive safely so that we can commence the meeting. We are also meant to meet with @ehiboss too as he is one of the members of the meeting.
