What are you using here? Pastels? There is sooooo much going on here that it is keeping my mind busy and I am enjoying that. I see lots of cool stuff in this one. Nice work.
Thank you very much! I started out with a pencil sketch. Then I inked some of the pencil and erased all graphite. Then I did a few layers of spot coloring some base tones with Sharpie markers in select areas. From there I used PrismaColor wax-based pencils and some gel pens. I usually go back and reapply some of the ink to resharpen some of the outlines.
It's all about the layers. This one has quite a bit of the corners (which are some of the most ornate and intricately detailed areas) are cropped off. The sketch paper was super oblong. Thanks for your awesome comment. Glad you give your eyes some busy work! =)
I am going to try and get my art sent over from Texas here to Sweden. Then I can take my time getting some good quality shots or maybe scanning them for the first time. We shall see! Have a great week and
