~ Pollinators Unite ~

One of the things that got me really interested in Macro photography was the thrill of capturing an image of a bug to be further analyzed later on. I started to see what I had never seen before, character and personality in bugs! I would have never thought that bugs could be personable... but it turns out that many of them are.

I wanted to share with y'all 13 shots taken recently, where new subjects were throwing themselves quite literally into my shots! It's always cool to take a shot and when looking at it later finding a bug you didn't know was hiding right there in plain sight! In macro, it pays to give everything a double take! Attention to detail is not just the camera's job.

Which one of these was your favorite?

I think mine is one of the ones with the fly in it! I hate flies but they sure look cool when the light hits them just right and those beady red eyes shining bright! As annoying as the sound of those wings can be, they also look cool.
