Rainy Day Walk for Four Orchids : My Actifit Report Card: December 28 2021

Rained all day without let up. I am so over it. Used the time to write up investing post from last week and to review some crypto stuff and update last two weeks affiliate marketing stats

Did go out at 6pm to walk armed with raincoat and umbrella - crazy man had to get out and moving. It rained as I started. Walked Darri Track to the south of us to check on two hyacinth orchids. First photo shows the new drainage work not draining water to the drainage gully

Bonnet orchid is a new opener on this track. Many of the plants had their flowers eaten - this one was missed

Two flowers open for blotched hyacinth orchid - dipodium punctatum. I saw the buds last time. 2nd photo was out of focus - one handed photo work holding an umbrella in low light and leeches hovering is not conducive to good photos

Waterfall running hard. This photo taken from the opposite side to last time - I like the leaf arrangement framing the waterfall. This segment is close to the houses and there is a lot of alien vegetation

2nd hyacinth spot had flowers too - variegated hyacinth orchid - dipodium variegatum. Also only got one good photo

Still deciding which version of this flower works better - focused in or with some of the other flowers as background

Large tongue orchid in a new location - one of many plants

Did find a painted rock and relocated it to the base of this bark shedding eucalyptus. Rock has the words St Ives Secret Rocks painted on the back.

Leech removal as I came out of the bush yielded one leech only on the boots. Rained really hard all the way home and stopped just as I got back.

Dinner: Barramundi, mash and peas.

Trade action: Bought LTHM, SQM - looking for a lithium bounce. Sold MCK, F. Ford has driven good profits.
