My Buddies and Me! 🐶 🐱
Greetings and Salutations!

And I'm thinking you need a little cuteness in your life...
Did you know that Google takes your pictures and movies that you take with your phone (assuming you have PHOTOS connected) and makes cool things?!
Here's Oberon AKA Fluffy getting some rubs:

And Eddie kitty lovin' on Oberon... he doesn't love it...

Oh no!
I had several other movies to share with you (less than a minute each). But because they are mp4s I gots no ways to share them in a post... unless I host them somewhere else first. Dumb. 😒
They are super cute! With music and all the pics!
In case you're interested here are the links to them:
- Meow Movie - Starring EDDIE KITTY!
- Doggie Movie - Starring BANQUO (mostly)
- Doggie Movie - Starring OBERON (with appearances from the others)
- Another Meow Movie - We take a lot of pics of the kitty....
The Buddies

I will leave you with this

It's absolutely stunning where we live. Truly God's paintbrush.

Aww I love the cat licking the dogs head. Are those Aspen trees?

They ARE Aspens! HUGE ONES!
It's like they are reaching as high as they can get. It's crazy.
That pic was last year, winter-ish... we'd gone out to chop some deadwood. The creak was frozen on top, but flowing underneath... the sky... breathtaking.
And... the cat totally LOVES the dogs... but they are less trusting of him, on account of seeing him murder...
@carrieallen super cool, those trees look amazing in the fall.. I've only seen pictures. High altitude trees are awesome, my favorite are Pinyon pines. I'd love to grow them and eat those delicious pine nuts. They are super expensive where I live, just like avocados since none occur near Georgia.
Hah the cat in my house only deals with the dog when shes sleepy or relaxed. If the dog starts playing with her toy the cat flees.
We have Piñon here! (I totally had to look up if spelling with a 'y' is a thing now... and it is... But I've always known it spelled this way.
Anywho, our house is SURROUNDED by them. They make seeds just about every 7 years...sometimes more if they sense danger (need to make more babies to ensure survival).
I wanna say it was like 5 years ago that they fruited... IT WAS INSANE.
The easiest way to collect was old school native American ways.
We got a huge (like HUGE) tarp and wrapped it around the base of a tree. Hubs found a VERY long branch (Aspen, quite sturdy) and tied a set of antlers to the top.
Then... he shook the trees.
LOL!
Worked SO GOOD.
The migrant Mexicans would come and watch and be impressed. They come to the area and just knock on doors asking if they can collect. Pretty much EVERYONE says yes... There's just so many, no need to be greedy.
We had SO MANY POUNDS last time. Made a good chunk of money selling some too.
So delicious.

P.S. I've been watching them this year... Because of all the water, they may try again... I'll know soonly if they make seeds or duds.
@carrieallen wow super cool, I am too low in altitude for them but I'd love to have them.. love the low tech way of collecting them, if you end up having a surplus I would be interested in buying some from you.
