I'M FINISHING MY MARBLE SCULPTURE

Hello dear friends!
I am back in Vienna to finally finish my marble sculpture, and then transport it to Switzerland.
I'm working a lot at the moment, but I'm at a good point anyway.

STO FINENDO LA MIA SCULTURA IN MARMO

Ciao cari amici!
Sono di nuovo a Vienna per terminare finalmente la mia scultura in marmo, e trasportarla poi in Svizzera.
Al momento sto lavorando tantissimo, ma sono ad un buon punto comunque.

Daniel, my teacher, also gave me a little carborundum stone (firts image below) and a little pumice stone (second image below), which have the function of smoothing the marble.

Daniel, il mio insegnante, mi ha dato anche un po' di pietra di carborundum (prima immagine sottostante) e un po' di pietra pomice (seconda immagine sottostante), che hanno la funzione di levigare il marmo.

In addition, he gave me two files and two unghiette, which are chisels rounded at the sides. They have this shape to avoid pulling the edge of the chisel into the marble in narrow places.

In piú mi ha regalato due lime e due unghiette, che sono scalpelli arrotondati ai lati. Hanno questa forma per evitare di tirarsi nel marmo lo spigolo dello scalpello in punti stretti.
