Making a dress for Barbie
Hello dear #Steemwomenclub community, today I come to show you how I designed a beautiful dress for every little girl's friend Barbie. This has taken me back to my childhood and I had fun remembering how my dolls were and how I made their clothes.
I also remembered many childhood friends, such as my dear friend Gladys, Beisi, Arelis, Yelitza and Elena. There are many moments when we played and were very happy.
With all these feelings in my heart I made this beautiful dress to participate in this contest that I love because you all know that I love crafts, I hope more people join and can contribute their creations.

This pretty lady has come to my sewing studio to design a cocktail dress to go to a meeting at the Steemit Women's Club, she as always, wants to stand out from the others, so she has asked me for a convination between lilac and purple colors with a beautiful hat with flowers.
Materials we are going to use
Gold chandelier crochet thread
Knitting needle # 2.5 mm
Flowers
Buttons
Scissors
Needle and thread
And a lot of desire to knit.
Step by step
Top of the dress:
The first thing we are going to knit are 13 chains, in the first round we are going to knit 12 single crochet. We continue the second round making single crochet but without putting the needle in the two strands of yarn of the single crochet, we are only going to take the back strand, we continue in this way until we get the 12 single crochet stitches.
Repeat the same process until you have 24 rows, which are approximately 10 centimeters long. Remember that not all of us use the same yarn or the same needle, that's why the type of knitting varies a little bit, but you must have your wrist at hand to measure every moment.
Now we are going to knit low stitches on the sides and the top, if you want to place buttons you are going to make two buttonholes at the other end, if not you can leave it with low stitches to make it like a corset.
The skirt:
At the bottom we are going to knit two high stitch two chain stitches and two high stitches in the same place, leaving a space between fan and fan, you should have at the end about 12 knitted fans.
We continue in this way for 2 more rounds, knitting fan inside the chain stitch space or rather inside each fan.
Then we knit three rows of fan but of three double crochet, two double crochet and three double crochet. To finish we make 2 rounds of fan but increasing in 4 double crochet stitches two chains and 4 double crochet stitches. Decorate the border with embroidered details or simply with single crochet all around.
At the top you can change the thread color and decorate with single crochet.
The hat:
The hat is very easy to make, for that we knit 3 chains inside a magic ring, then we knit 16 double crochet stitches, close the magic ring and close the round with a slip stitch over the third starting chain.
Now we are going to knit increases of two double crochet stitches, one in each high stitch of the base and close the row with a slip stitch on the third starting chain. In the third and fourth rows we are going to knit a single crochet for each base stitch, we close with slip stitch.
In the next row we are going to knit only single crochet, one for each base stitch, and we finish with what will be the hat flap by knitting increases of double crochet, that is to say two double crochets in each base stitch.

The details are very important, for example the belt that goes in combination with the dress, a purse, bracelets, among others. For now she looks beautiful and was satisfied with the work I did, I hope Barbie can stand out among the other girls in the #Steemwomensclub.
I was happy, you don't know how much fun I had; I remembered that when I was a child my mom used to sew with me with just scraps of fabric. From my mother I learned many things and maybe from her I got this beautiful feeling I have for handicrafts.
This dress will remain in my memories because later I will give it to my beautiful niece Victoria.

Confeccionando un vestido para Barbie
Hola querida comunidad de #Steemwomenclub, hoy les vengo a mostrar como diseñe un bello vestido para la amiga de todas las niñas Barbie. Esto me ha hecho volver a mi infancia y me he divertido recordando cómo eran mis muñecas y como hacia su ropa.
También recordé a muchas amigas de la infancia, como por ejemplo a mi querida amiga Gladys, Beisy, Arelis, Yelitza y Elena, Son muchos los momentos en que jugábamos y éramos muy felices.
Con todos estos sentimientos en mi corazón realicé este hermoso vestido para participar en este concurso que me encanta porque todas saben que amo las manualidades, espero que más personas se unan y puedan aportar sus creaciones.

Esta linda señorita ha venido a mi taller de costura para que diseñe un vestido de coctel para ir a una reunión en el Club de las mujeres de Steemit, ella como siempre, quiere resaltar entre las demás, así que me ha pedido una combinación entre colores lila y morado con un hermoso sombrero con flores.
Materiales que vamos a utilizar

Aguja de tejer # 2.5 mm
Flores
Botones
Tijera
Aguja e hilo
Y muchas ganas de tejer.
Paso a paso
Top del vestido:
Lo primero que vamos a tejer son 13 cadenetas, en la primera vuelta vamos a tejer 12 puntos bajos. Continuamos la segunda vuelta haciendo puntos bajos pero sin meter la aguja en las dos hebras de hilo del punto bajo, solo vamos a tomar la hebra de atrás, continuamos así hasta obtener los 12 puntos bajos.
Repetimos el mismo proceso hasta obtener 24 vueltas que son como 10 centímetros de largo aproximadamente. Recuerda que no todas usamos el mismo hilo o la misma aguja, por eso varia un poco el tipo de tejido, pero debes tener la muñeca a la mano para ir midiendo a cada momento.
Ahora vamos a tejer puntos bajos por los laterales y la parte superior, si gustas colocar botones vas a realizar dos ojales al otro extremo, sino puedes dejarlo con puntos bajos para hacerlo tipo corsé.
La falda:
En la parte de abajo vamos a tejer punto abanico de dos puntos altos dos cadenetas y dos puntos altos en el mismo sitio, dejando un espacio entre abanico y abanico, deberías tener al final unos 12 abanicos tejidos.
Continuamos así por 2 vueltas más, tejiendo abanico metido dentro del espacio de cadenetas o mejor dicho dentro de cada abanico.
Luego realizamos tres vueltas de abanico pero de tres puntos altos dos cadenetas y tres puntos altos. Para finalizar hacemos 2 vueltas de abanico pero aumentando en 4 puntos altos dos cadenetas y 4 puntos altos. Decoramos el borde con detalles bordados o simplemente con punto bajo por todo el contorno.
En la parte superior puedes cambiar el color de hilo y decorar con puntos bajos.
El sombrero:
El sombrero es muy fácil de hacer, para eso tejemos 3 cadenetas dentro de un aro mágico, seguido tejemos 16 puntos altos, cerramos el aro mágico y cerramos la vuelta con un punto deslizado sobre la tercera cadeneta de inicio.
Ahora vamos a tejer aumentos de dos puntos altos uno en cada punto alto de la base y cerramos esa vuelta con punto deslizado en la tercera cadeneta de inicio. En la tercera y cuarta vuelta vamos a tejer un punto alto para cada punto de base, cerramos con punto deslizado.
En la vuelta que sigue vamos a tejer solamente puntos bajos, uno para cada punto de base. y finalizamos con lo que será la pestaña del sombrero tejiendo aumentos de puntos altos, es decir dos puntos altos en cada punto de base.

Los detalles son muy importantes, por ejemplo el cinturón que vaya en combinación con el vestido, una cartera, pulseras, ente otros. Por ahora ella se ve hermosa y quedó satisfecha con el trabajo que realicé, espero que Barbie pueda resaltar entre las demás chicas del #Steemwomensclub.
Yo quedé feliz, no saben cuánto me divertí; recordé que cuando era niña mi mamá se ponía conmigo a coser con tan solo retazos de tela. De mi madre aprendí muchas cosas y tal vez a ella le deba este bello sentimiento que siento por las manualidades.
Este vestido quedará en mis recuerdos porque más tarde se lo voy a regalar a mi preciosa sobrina Victoria.
