Manjar de coco
El manjar de coco es un dulce muy usual en la región por su buen sabor y lo sencillo de su preparación Ingredientes 2 cocos frescos ½ kg de azúcar blanca ½ l de agua 2 cucharadas de maicena 1 cucharadita de clavos de olor
Canela en polvo Preparación Se coloca la pulpa del coco rallada en una olla y se le agregan los ingredientes restantes. Se revuelve durante 20 minutos, o hasta que la mezcla espese, siempre removiéndola con una paleta de madera. Al terminar de cocinarlo se sirve en tazas de vidrio individuales y se come con canela recién espolvoreada por encima.
