God is the Light that guides me

The divine light is the wisdom of God that guides me continuously.

The beginning of a new year is traditionally a time to set new goals and think about the future. When contemplating the unlimited possibilities that await me.

As I pray, I give thanks that the Spirit of God in me continuously guides me and inspires me to reach new achievements.

With faith and gratitude, he acted according to the guidance I receive. I know what I must do, because the light of God's wisdom guides me in a divine way.

"Because our God, in his great mercy, brings us from on high the sun of a new day, to give light to those who live in the deepest darkness, and direct our steps on the path of peace." Lucas: 1:78-79 (LBLA)

But note that Psalm 119: 105 indicates that the Word of God fulfills two related functions. First of all, it is a lamp for our foot. If, when faced with the problems of daily life, we let the biblical principles guide our steps, we will make prudent decisions and avoid the pitfalls and dangers of this world. Second, the reminders of God illuminate our path; they help us to choose options that are in harmony with our hope to live forever in the Paradise that God has promised. While the path that stretches before us is well lit, we can discern whether the consequences of a certain procedure will be good or bad (Romans 14:21, 1 Timothy 6: 9, Revelation [Revelation] 22:12).

If we follow the biblical principles, we can face any difficulty in life, because the Word of God is "profitable to teach, to censure, to rectify things, to discipline in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16).

18 If we allow the principles of the Word of God to enlighten us and guide us, we will make wise decisions. We can be sure that the written Word of Jehovah "makes the inexperienced wise" (Psalm 19: 7). Also, when we follow the direction the Bible gives us, we have a clear conscience and the satisfaction of knowing that we are pleasing Jehovah (1 Timothy 1:18, 19). Finally, if we let the sayings of God guide us from day to day, he will reward us with the greatest blessing of all: eternal life (John 17: 3).
