Se cumple más de tres meses de protestas en Venezuela

Se cumplen tres meses de protestas en Venezuela. Desde el primer día de manifestaciones (1 de abril), las personas han salido una y otra vez de sus casas y de sus lugares de trabajo para tomar la calle y manifestar contra el Gobierno de Nicolás Maduro.

Las manifestaciones convocadas por la Mesa de la Unidad Democrática (MUD) han sido apoyadas una y otra vez por miles de personas que se han mantenido en las calles por espacio de tres meses. Los enfrentamientos derivados de las protestas han dejado más de 90 personas fallecidas, miles de heridos y miles de personas detenidas.

En la mayoría de las movilizaciones de calle el gas lacrimógeno ha estado presente para dispersar a las personas que, desde el oeste y del este capitalino, intentan llegar a una sede del Gobierno venezolano. Las marchas han sido convocadas al Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE), Tribunal Supremo de Justicia (TSJ), la Defensoría del Pueblo, el Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Salud, el Ministerio de Interior Justicia y Paz, entre otros.

There are three months of protests in Venezuela. Since the first day of demonstrations (April 1), people have come out again and again from their homes and workplaces to take the street and protest against the government of Nicolás Maduro.

Demonstrations convened by the Democratic Unity Bureau (MUD) have been supported over and over by thousands of people who have remained on the streets for three months. Clashes stemming from the protests have left more than 90 people dead, thousands injured and thousands detained.

In most of the street demonstrations, tear gas has been present to disperse people from the west and east of the capital, trying to reach a seat of the Venezuelan government. The marches have been called to the National Electoral Council (CNE), Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), the Ombudsman's Office, the Ministry of People's Power for Health, the Ministry of Interior Justice and Peace, among others.
