LANDSCAPES BATHED WITH INVISIBLE LIGHT. 720 Nanometers.

in #gems5 years ago
Infrared photography offers us a subject of interesting discussion, invisible light is the protagonist in such an interesting way of taking photographs through modified cameras and infrared filters of different nanometers.

Infrared light is that which we cannot see with the naked eye. The heat generated and reflected from all things shows us the infrared uz has a high spectrum ranging from about 0.7 to 1000 micrometers.

William Herschel accidentally discovered this frequency of light in 1800 through a prism by measuring the heat emitted by the reflected light in the colors that said prism in his Laboratory accidentally left the thermometer close to the light spectrum and this threw high temperatures where it did not exist. color and this really caught his attention and there he began his research on invisible light.

Infrared radiation is currently used in Astrophotography, In the military arts, In medicine, Electronic Technology, Radio and Television Waves, Photography. Infrared radiation comprises Wavelength: 10−3 m - 7.8 × 10−7 m Frequency: 3 × 1011 Hz - 3.84 × 1014 Hz; there are currently infrared photographic fitros ranging from 350 to 1,200 nanometers these filters cut off Visible light to let invisible light pass through. Infrared radiation is a very interesting type of photography used by many photography artists including Ansel Adams and other famous photographers.
