How do I understand metaphysics?

Reality is a fact that only surrounds based on what our knowledge can measure, everything that escapes outside the human understanding is out of reality, since the years of Plato and Aristotle we have tried to study this reality based on the form and structure that it has, but perhaps many of us have wondered:
Is it necessary to categorize reality in a fact of form and structure?.
Perhaps for some yes, and for others, both options are valid because within the possible contexts it can be studied, however I find it very difficult that outside of metaphysics a complete philosophical study of the way we conceive reality can be made.
The understanding of the universe is complex seen from different approaches, from what was the beginning and what will be the end.
What existed before the universe existed?
What may come to exist by the time the universe dies?
These are questions that would be impossible to find answers if they are not studied from a metaphysical approach that can include the entity as an element of study, the being is another complex that involves all the existing reasoning to give body and existential capacity to these questions.
We cannot leave aside either to the existence since what we consider that does not exist, within metaphysics is inherent as an object of study, things so simple make us think that metaphysics the first birth of philosophy to center the bases of great philosophers such as Plato, Aristotle, Leibniz, among others.
Perhaps if science had not reached our era, metaphysics would still be dominating the fields of what today are the natural sciences, however, since there is a demonstrable lack of the aspects and phenomena that involve nature and its physical aspects, metaphysics could only be left behind for the real aspects that have body and matter that do not require demonstration.
From my perspective, these aspects that do not require demonstration do not detract from the merit of metaphysics, since the human mind needs a free thought that does not worry so much about demonstrations when the objective is to go beyond what our imagination can think for the benefit of a free philosophy without prejudice of any kind.
hello @carlos84,
it is not easy to understand metaphysics, especially when we do not have an open mind. on the other hand, the questions "where do we come from and where are we going? are questions that humans have been trying to understand for thousands of years. i imagine that in the future they will have answers. for now we only have theories.
Science and metaphysics, rationalism and spirituality. Everything is necessary to understand the complexity of our world and this life. I am an agnostic, but that does not exempt me from knowing that science does not answer everything we ask of it.
Thank you for this post.
Hello friend, certainly science does not answer all concerns, and who else but philosophy can help us to enter the world of materialism and the unknowns of our universe.
Greetings and thanks for commenting.
Greetings @carlos84 understanding what is beyond death is still complex and misunderstood by man, all we can do are conjectures or hypotheses where this discipline called metaphysics provides the basis of its knowledge. Greetings
Hello friend, certainly in the face of the unknown we can only make conjectures and perform analysis of the basis that gives us the metaphysics.

What I have heard alot these days is meta was but metaphysics is something that is new to me and thanks to you for sharing about it however I still do not have a thorough understanding about the topic. Nice article
