Pencil drawing, New Competition (No.61)

Greetings steemians! How are you today? I hope you are all fine as I am. Today I draw a water kettle and I am presenting it as my entry for the No. 61 competition in the WORLD OF XPILAR community. I appreciate @xpillar for organising and sustaing this contest.

Materials For drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Sharpener

Step 1
I began the drawing of my kettle from the handle. The handle is like letter n. It had plastic attached to it to enable someone hold hot water easily.

Step 2
Here, I drew the cover of the kettle which is round and has a lid on it for easi handling.

Step 3
I drew the circular body of the kettle. I also show how the handle is attached to the body of the kettle.

Step 4
I drew the spout of the Kettle. This is the small opening for disposing or emptying the kettle. The spout has a small opening at the top.

Step 5
I shaded the handle and cover of the cattle. I ensure that the lid on the cover is shaded black and also, the plastic on the handle.

Step 6
I shaded the remaining part of the kettle and a shadow casted by the kettle. All this are carried out using pencil.
