Dog is a carnivorous mammal closely related to the gray wolf that has long been domesticated as a pet They occur in a variety of sizes, colours, and coat types.

Economic importance of dog

• Dogs are bred to perform certain functions such as herding, hunting, and retrieving, service, therapy.
• Domestic dogs also serve as a source of food (meat)

The dangers of having a dog
Through their saliva, dogs can spread bacterial and viral illnesses. If a dog bites you or its saliva goes into your nose, mouth, or eyes, these can be transmission of illnesses.

Materials used in drawing the dog

1. A4 paper

2. Pencil

3. Shapner

4. Eraser

5. Cotton wool

Steps of drawing the dog
Step 1.

I began my drawing from the ear and other parts of the head and down to the neck. I position the eye, mouth and the nose. I also draw the two legs in the front and one of the hind legs that is partly hiding.

Step 2

At this stage, I completed the drawing by drawing the hind leg, the tail and the tongue. I also shaded the nose, the mouth and the two ears.

Step 3
Here, I work on the eye and continue with the shading. I shaded the tongue, the head and other parts of the body.

Step 4

At this step, I darken some areas on the dog like its nails and other areas on its body.

Step 5

In this final step, I completed the eye and put some dark patches around its mouth and some long hairs in that same area
