Singing in the rain!

So there I was sitting in my car waiting for a friend to come home while it’s absolutely pouring with rain outside!

Of course I was absolutely grateful to be sitting somewhere comfortable out of the rain! I don’t want to get soaked!

But then I thought.. it’s only rain! Why not embrace it, meet it, enjoy it, it won’t take long to dry off!

..So I did! Just because I could, and it was so refreshing! I never normally do things like this really but over the last few years my views on life are changing and I feel the more we can express ourselves, the more we live our lives!

Now I’ve run in the rain plenty of times trying to catch a bus but that is because I’ve had no choice! I wanted to get home! I chose to do something which sounds …oh yes a little crazy, just to embrace and be grateful for the fact I have a choice.

When you start to become grateful for the fact you have a choice and you can act upon it when you like then you begin to release the shackles societies norm’s has on you!

To break away from societies expectations is of course a hard thing to do! Most of us live our life like zombies, doing what society expects us to do, if not then we will be deemed a bad unhelpful person! Unfortunately a lot of the time this can take away our creativity, our pure zest for life, and all too commonly our hopes and dreams!

So take a moment to just do something “silly” whatever it is, today or sometime in the week. Don’t lose who you are and what you are capable of doing, which is anything!
