The Century of Self is amazing as are all of Adam Curtis' documentaries. They were a staple part of my brain diet in over a decade ago. I don't think slavery was a choice but it was definitely perpetuated by victim mentality. The same mentality that plagues Western society today sadly.
Not really into his music but he is making a lot of sense at the moment. If he can get this out through his music he will be doing humanity a great favour!
