Panasonic Lumix S1 Autofocus Test - Firmware 1.2
Panasonic Lumix S1 has been tested in a couple of recent reviews for it's autofocus performance, however, most seemed to be outdoors in bright sunshine, which for wedding filmmakers, we don't always have the luxury of having. So today I thought I would do some testing in an office environment with bad lighting and sound. Let's see how the Panasonic Lumix S1 autofocus does in this environment.

I Liked the wooden craft work on one your wall, it's gorgeous...Performance of auto focus system looks good to me though I don't know so much about this but looks good... I am going to invite @tussar11 to check this video out... He might give you some thoughts...
I think it does well 85% of the time. There is a slight bit of pulsing that is a factor with DFD based autofocus systems, but it's very usable in most situations.
I was expecting you to do a cartwheel when you were doing the in and out test hahaha. MAYBE next time, yes?
I thought it did really well, but then again I have an untrained eye. Still, it is pretty good. I learnt a few things here that I could use to test my camera with. Thanks!
Hahaha, cartwheel would have definitely been entertaining for everyone :D No autofocus system is perfect, but certainly they are improving as time goes on.
