Hong Kong: Food Heaven

Alright guys, so as some of you might know I am currently living in Hong Kong. Before this I was living in a lesser known city in mainland China which didn't have a lot of foreigners so in turn had very little diversity in food options. It was basically just eat Chinese food and you get the occasional Indian or Thai dish. So when I got to Hong Kong the first thing I did was go get some good food. So in this post we are going to see just what Hong Kong has to offer especially for someone who has been deprived of choices for a few years. And if you plan on going to Hong Kong this will give you an idea of what your options will be here. This will be in no particular order.

My first stop every time I come to Hong Kong is a place called Cali-Mex. As you can tell by the name it is a Mexican food joint from California and man this is always one of my main places to go.

This is a steak burrito which is massive and the steak is on point. My buddy across from me has a chicken burrito bowl. If you like to drink they also have an extensive drink menu as well. They also carry some Mexican sodas which are great! You can find Cali-Mex everywhere here.

The next spot is called the Flying Pan. This is based off of an American diner and looks the part right off the bat. One of the greatest things about this place is that they are open 24/7. They carry all of you classic American breakfast dishes here as well which was exactly what I was looking for when I left mainland China. Breakfast is something that I really missed.

So I don't what this post to get too long. We will do one more and then continue on the next post. One of my favorite foods and I am sure a lot of others can relate, GOOD PIZZA! Now I am from New York and haven't found anything quite that good but still better than anything I have had in the last couple years. You can get slices or full pies. This particular place is call Paisanos and they are all over Hong Kong. I haven't found any better spots yet so if you some better places in Hong Kong definitely let me know!

The options in this city are great and there are a lot more options that we will go over in the future. But if you are a foodie this is a great place to go as the options are endless. I hope this post made some people hungry haha. Peace out!
