Whoa...lol I like da wax but I know this is off topic but....Have you been losing alot of steem lately? I've lost like $9 in just the past few days. Plus my node's been 'down for maintenance'. Just doesn't feel right like I have no control....😲

I like wax too but I'm to lazy cook any up lately lol. Ok what is a node? And yeah the price of steem dropped some really no way to control that. I'm not super great with computers like 4 months ago I got interested in crypto so I bought a laptop and really everyday is a learning experience. Before that the last time I really used a computer was back when big bulky monitors and AOL dial up was a thing.

Lol. Well I know some. And some html. But it's been awhile. I built a website once from the ground up. I'd grab a jscript for a carousel. It was cool. I had all my favorite radio talk shows & websites as indivual clickable scrollable icons that took you to listen/read. Then I messed around with a joomla/drupal website. Now I'm back to scratch...sigh. I should try to upload them just for kicks...lol Anyway, you ever want to know anything ask k? Might know, might not.

I been trying to figure out Dos box so I can play old games I used to like but every time I sit down to mess with it I'm to stoned to think about it and I just wanna play the damn game lol

Looks pretty straight forward. When you install dosbox it creates a section of your memory/hd to simulate the dos enviornment needed to run dos games. If you are playing from a disc you have to point dosbox to the cd drive. If you have the game on your pc you point it to the folder you have the game .exe in. Unless you're a MAC user. I know nothing about mac. I'm windows & android. Messed around with dual boot at one point (Linux Mint + Windows).

You know how to create new folders?

You ever play JOUST? I was the queen of that and CENTIPEDES.

I'm starting to figure it out. I use Windows and Android. I'm trying to play the original Warcraft. I had joust on one of those disc full of old games for the original xbox

A node from what I imagine is like a part of steemit. A bunch of people (witnesses) take different blocks of stemit content putting it on their own servers..? That's why it's called a block'chain'. No one server houses steemit. Different blocks are taken care of by multiple people. That way it's impossible for anyone to shut steemit down. If they mess with one witness' server, we still have all the other witnesses to keep it running. I'm only guessing but a node is one part of a block. My node is having issues and it looks like someone is working on it but I don't have access to steemd half the time and sometimes steem.supply. idk, just was hoping that wasn't effecting my losing so much money. Maybe it's time to buy $20. worth...;)
