Bangladesh is an agricultural country. With the changing times, the agricultural sector of this country has come under the touch of modernity. Farmers are now moving away from the traditional method of cultivation and towards more profitable and scientific methods. One such profitable and modern method is vegetable cultivation using the raised bed or 'Jangla' method, a wonderful picture of which is shown in this picture. A well-arranged raised bed of bamboo poles and wires is visible in the green field. Young vegetable plants are growing in a straight line through the soil, waiting to climb up the raised bed. This method is usually very effective in cultivating creeping vegetables like gourd, pumpkin, bitter gourd, jhing or cucumber.

When cultivating creeping vegetables on the ground, there is often a fear of insect and spider attacks and rot. Since the fruits are cultivated on the raised bed, they get light and air and look beautiful and spotless. Weeding, fertilizing and irrigation are much easier in the raised bed method. There is also a lot less attack by diseases. In this method, more trees can be planted in a small area and it is possible to ensure the best use of the land. This green field spread under the blue sky is not just an agricultural land, it is a symbol of the hard work of the farmer and his dream of becoming self-reliant. With proper training and government support, such modern agriculture can make a greater contribution to the country's economy.
