Transaction cost block chain - why are steem transactions cheap?
Can Steem encounter the same problems as BTC and ETH?
A number of the larger crypto currencies recently had significant problems with their transaction volumes generating enormous transaction backlogs. This enormously drives up the transaction price and is hurting their currency values, at least temporarily.
Is Steem subject to the same risk? Especially as every message results in a transaction (to my limited knowledge). This could generate enormous block chain transaction volumes.
I have no doubt this has been dealt with by-design. So how is the Steem block chain (technically) different so that it will not encounter this problem?
Who can explain any differences?
