Out of curiousity, how did you get involved in cryptocurrency? Did someone tell you about steem, or do your sites accept payments in bitcoin, or was it something else? If it's the latter, do you think there is a market for decentralized porn/webcams/escort services etc?
I can't decide regarding escorts because retaining safety while being mindful of privacy concerns is somewhat contradictory. Regardless, welcome to the site!
Well I've made my entire living with the internet for a long time, I think cryptocurrencies are just like something that goes with that, I've known of it for a long time. My boyfriend has had a strong interest in it since bitcoin was first introduced, and he does trading and told me about steemit about a year ago. I didn't pay much attention to it until recently though.
I'm posting content here I would have on twitter for free so it only makes sense.
Many camsites and adult sites accept Bitcoin and Litecoin too. It has a big upside for them, because normal credit card transactions are high risk and they get large amounts of fraud. It's really ideal for online transactions for adult material, as far as offline things like escorting I'm not really familiar with that aspect of the industry.

Yea I know nothing about them either, I was just thinking that the sex industry is a disproportionately large piece of the internet and it is completely unrepresented in blockchain technology and I'm not exactly sure why. There are endless decentralized file storage options, decentralized computing power lending, currencies, smart contract platforms, prediction markets, but no porn???
I'm not an entrepreneur so maybe I'm missing why. Maybe people are worried about their reputations? I don't see it as an issue, especially when the founder of bitcoin was anonymous, if someone was worried about his name being slandered he could always call himself Smutoshi Nakagonzo or something lol
I think that maybe because it's such a heavily regulated industry. Age verification is always required, which makes it no longer anonymous in the sense that the block chain is. I cant imagine what kind of horrors that would be happening if certain things weren't adhered to. Human trafficking is still an issue even with all of the precautionary measures.... In my opinion it's one thing to that does need regulated. And I feel the exact opposite about everything else lol. I think it may be the legal issues that come with it🤷♀️
