FLASH-RT is ultra-high dose rate radiotherapy. for example, in case of irradiation of 10 Gy with Linac we use in cancer treatment, it takes about 5 minutes, but if we use FLASH-RT device, it takes only 0.2 seconds. The interesting point is the shorter irradiation time makes no lung, and brain tissue damage by high dose radiation.
