Renegade's Home Build vlog #44 - Getting Frustrated....
Lately, our home build seems to be moving in slow motion. A few leads for a drywall contractor have fallen through which, in a way, is good because my timeline for drywall keeps getting pushed back. Things that were overlooked still need to be finished, and the tub surround fiasco continues. At the time I filmed this, I estimate I have lost a full 3 days of productive work due to the surround problems including exchanges, packing, and hauling.
Also, the weather is still not ideal and it has been rainy and mucky the two times I have tried having the family out while I work so I can spend more time with them. All of this has been adding up to a very frustrated and tired renegade.

I know the feeling, sometimes I feel like I'm at a stand still. We are building an off-grid homestead in the high desert in the four corners region of the US. Don't let it get you down it always gets better. Good luck. Can't wait to see how it goes in the future. Followed.

I checked out your blog and read a few of your old posts on your homestead from a couple years ago. Anymore recent progress updates coming?
Also, if you have any questions about solar I would be happy to help. I know a fair bit about it and even designed the system we are putting on my house (picked and sized all the main components). The installation will be done by a master electrician because here in Alberta it has to be in order to pull the permit but I am helping him a bit with the install as well.
Yes, more posts coming. I just started posting again on steemit. Hopefully I will get some posts of the cabin and other buildings we've built written up and posted. It's hard to do, if I sit down to write I feel like I'm falling behind on my projects. I'm sure you can relate.
It's kinda stressful, but it's been a dream of mine for a long time.

Sounds good. Yeah, there is only so much time and it's hard to decide what to prioritize. I'm glad you are still making progress even if it's not getting posted!
