MOVING FORWARD(part 2)

So today we will be looking into another hindrance to moving forward which is DISTRACTION AND POOR FOCUS.

Yes, Distraction as we all know can be something that makes you to loose focus,distracts and keep you off balance from what you are vying for.

I will like to tell a story to explain this concept.

A young soldier who was frustrated in the training ground was called by the senior soldier, he told him that he should put an egg in a spoon and walk around the barracks without it breaking, that if it should break he will be fired immediately,
Fearfully the young soldier took the spoon with egg and walked around the barracks carefully not to break the egg, he came back successfully and happy,
Then the senior soldier asked, when you were walking did you see the girls dancing? Did you see the soldiers parading? Did you see the children playing? Did you see the women gossiping? The young soldier answered NO in all questions.

So he said to him, today you have learnt something,on your way to success you must avoid distractions and be focused because if you lack this you are likely to fail.

Many of us today have great dreams and vision but are distracted by what is happening around us, some keep displeasing themselves just to please others,
Some keep listening to the wrong ideas and asking for help in the wrong places.

Distraction has so hindered many from their goals, this applies to our close friends and family too, sometimes they might try to discourage you from moving forward but you have to persist and resist such.

Focus is also needed to move forward because the young soldier in the story was focused on the spoon with egg and he knew if he failed he will be fired,
Have you ever wondered what happens when you loose focus? For sure you might have experience same,everything will fall back to square one which will leave you totally frustrated.

Finally we should avoid distractions just like the astronauts trying to launch into outer space and our focus should be like a soldier in war with just one bullet in gun,.
