Una de las cosas que más disfruto fotografiar son los elementos arquitectónicos coloniales, pueden encontrarse en muchas partes de Venezuela y están siempre cargados de belleza e historia. Lamentablemente en Venezuela no existe una política de conservación del patriomonio arquitectónico y es por esto que este bien material se está perdiendo a manos de la construcción mal planificada y poco regulada, y la indolencia de los entes encargados del estado a quienes no les interesa preservar nuestra historia y herencia cultural.

Esta ventana se encuentra en un pueblo del estado Carabobo llamado Montalbán. Tiene una gran belleza por su diseño, forma del enrejado y texturas. Como pueden ver, se encuentra en estado de deterioro, quizá sea poco lo que le reste de vida.

One of the things I most enjoy photographing are the colonial architectural elements, which can be found in many parts of Venezuela and are always full of beauty and history. Unfortunately in Venezuela there is no policy of conservation of the architectural patrimony and this is why this material good is being lost to the hands of poorly planned and unregulated construction, and the indolence of the entities in charge of the state who are not interested in preserving our history and cultural heritage.

This window is located in a town in the state of Carabobo called Montalbán. It has great beauty due to its design, grating shape and textures. As you can see, it is in a state of deterioration, perhaps there is little left of its life.
