Great find @calprut. This one is some cool tech and also great practical use case. This might be the equivalent of a life vest in a boat. Maybe all buildings should have something like this

I'm sure that this backpack could save a couple of lives in certain situations but, I think it still has good chances of failing. Somebody could easily cut you off if you're not fast enough or, the whole thing could just break if it weren't mounted properly. I'm wondering how effective it would be in case of fire.

Yeah, it's not cut resistant. It's really effective for case of fire, coz it's fire resistant.
