How much do you really know about autism ?
Autism is a brain development disorder that affects the patient's ability to communicate and interact with others. In addition, autism also causes behavioral disorders and limits the sufferer's interest.
Autism is classified as an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This is because the symptoms and severity vary in each patient. Besides autism, other disorders including ASD are Asperger's syndrome, pervasive developmental disorders (PPD-NOS), and Heller syndrome.
Based on data compiled by WHO, autism occurs in 1 in 160 children worldwide. Whereas in Indonesia, until now there is no definite data regarding the number of people with autism.
