Who doesn't love minions?!

I made this one for my sister's birthday and it went down a treat. I'll say at this point she is now 27 years of age... and each year her cake requests get more elaborate, it's like she's testing me!

A minion is a pretty straightforward novelty cake, because there's not much carving to do - you can't really go wrong with the shape. There are already loads of tutorials out there to help you make your own minion! This one is particularly good, it gives step by step instructions with photographs along the way:
