Can relate to this so much - as a fellow Australian and perpetual traveller!
Even when I'm not 'travelling' in the romanticised / commercialised sense of the word, I try to maintain the adventure traveller and explorer mindset in everyday life. Mainly through little things like talking to strangers, trying new foods, discovering new hobbies, connecting with nature etc., then even the most mundane days are full of spontaneity and inspiring chance encounters.
++ I love that Steemit provides a virtual platform for this so us folks down under can 'travel' anytime anywhere! :)
