LEADER OR BOSS: How to define yourself?
Hello dear family Steemit! We hope you are well. This time we will be addressing two terms or profiles that despite being used very often in our day to day (Leader and Chief) are not synonymous, the differences between both terms are significant and the correct implementation of each of to define an individual or define yourself, can drastically change the image that society will perceive.
Before giving development to this interesting topic we ask you how do you perceive yourself?
When we talk about a leader or a boss, there are many differences or attitudes that the individual can possess, which will allow to identify him within one profile or another, among them, we can find:
1.position when executing an activity
This could be defined as one of the main differences between both terms, since, at the time of carrying out a certain operation within the company, the university or in any work environment. The leader is the one who leads the group, advising and supporting him directly. While the Boss is based on the authority, command or order the employees, without establishing direct contact with the operation.
2. Fear or Confidence
Based on the previous concept, it can be deduced that, due to the little contact of the boss with the employees or other members of the group, it is difficult to develop any bond of friendship or sympathy, so the boss commonly instills fear when interacting with him, this precise subordination and obedience. While the leader inspires confidence, he motivates the members through the recognition of their tasks and activities.
3. Responsible for (Impose or Motivate)
This difference is significant when developing new projects or tasks within an organization, because the leader is the one who listens to the ideas of the group, complements them and executes them, back to back with their employees, continually motivating creativity. While the boss is the one who develops the projects, and you order their employees to execute them (without listening to complaints or objections)
4. Collect the fruits (Ours or mine)
Finally, one of the significant differences between both profiles is that, when perceiving success through an activity, the leader shares it with the employees, feeding the spirit of the team. We did it! While the boss feeds his own ego, I did it! He does not share the fruits with the team, demotivating the employees.
We hope our post has been to your liking, before saying goodbye we want to make a small analysis of the developed topic: working as a team is essential for any human being, listening to the opinions and ideas of those around us allows us to trace a greater number of paths towards the success. Evaluate each of them and choose the indicated one. Never forget two heads think better than one
Finally we said goodbye, leaving a beautiful African proverb:
If you want to walk fast, walk alone.
If you want to walk far, walk together.
