Ulog #26: Where have I been?

Hi Steemit,

Just thought I'd let you all know where I have been for the past week!

I have been on holiday near Glasgow, Scotland, Enjoying my week doing the following activities:

• Cycling
• Exploring an Island
• Eating Junk Food :)
• Relaxing
• Exploring the local area
• Eating out a LOT, an AWFUL LOT!

This is the third time I have been to this place on holiday with my family, as we really like this place. We like it because there is lots to do and there is a nearby isle, the Isle of Great Cumbrae, which has a rather short and well priced ferry across the water. Last time and this we have rented bicycles, but this time we chose the more scenic route.

Last time I ate the very healthy dish of Deep Fried Pizza (A.K.A Instant Heart Attack), I had trouble finishing half of it. This time I opted for a slightly healthier option of scampi and chips. The place we ate at had a nice view of the sea, and it was overall very relaxing.

We also went around some of the local shops and bought a few things.

Along with this, we went to the Falkirk Wheel, a large ship elevator built in the 1900's. There is also this very impressive structure of two horses, known as kelpies, which are said to be in every loch in scotland!
