The Winter Garden - Day 213

I've got some colors changing in my tomatoes! How cool is that. I thought it was going to be a few more weeks but it looks like the first of my tomatoes is beginning to ripen. I wonder how long it will take before the tomatoes are a nice bright red. I'm excited to show my wife tomorrow, I know she has been eagerly waiting for her fresh tomatoes straight from the garden.

I'm really enjoying having the tomatoes in my garden. The process has felt much different than my basil, as the basil just seemed to explode with growth and be finished while the tomatoes have just made slow and steady progress. Excited to start seeing some ripen tomatoes and another round of basil harvests.
