The Water Garden - Day 48
Gillbert swimming around his leaf hammock waiting for some treats. I just can't deny him, he's too darn cute. I've been playing around with him following my finger lately and it's really cool how he follows it around the tank, I really need to get a video of it. I started doing it to alert him when I put food into the tank so I could be creating a pavlovs dogs type scenario.
Planter 1 is looking a bit shorter after I turned the wheatgrass into a smoothie this morning at work. Planter two isn't far behind, while planter 3 is looking like I didn't use enough seeds and is going to be growing quite sparsely. Opps!
I hope I get some regrowth on planter 1, would really suck if that's all I could get out of the wheatgrass was one smoothie per scoop of seeds.
My upstairs neighbor's betta died recently. They're grandkids loved it. It was red like Gillbert but with a bit darker purpleish tail. I fed it a few times when they were away for a weekend. They had it in a little tiny bowl. I know they seem to do OK in small bowls but I couldn't help but feel a little bad for him.
I really wish I could put some friends in with him.
I think they do OK with mollies - as long as the mollies don't have babies lol
Dear steemer,
