Black Pigeon Speaks, an Example of the Concept of Hate Speech Being Used as Intended
Recently, YouTube tried to remove Black Pigeon Speaks from their platform because of his content supposedly violating their Hate Speech guidelines. Their claims of his doing so were nothing more than a cover for their attempt to de-platform him. Which in the end, it ended up failing miserably for YouTube due to the fact of people knowing they were lying about BPS’s content and their speaking up about it.
What YouTube did in trying to label Black Pigeon Speaks as someone spouting Hate Speech was the intended use of the term. In this video we take a look at how Hate Speech as a concept was created out of thin air by one of the most repressive governments in modern history, it spreading around the globe like a cancer, and how it has been used historically to stifle speech.
