But Why we call the twelfth month La month ? Originally, our ancestors had the custom of ancestor worship when they were celebrating the Spring Festival. "La" is similar to "wax" .when we worship our ancestor that is called "wax". "La" and "wax" is a kind of ritual activities, and in December of the lunar calendar, people will call December the twelfth lunar month..

On the day of La 8, the customs different parts of China are different, but they are all the same in common . In the northeast, we must eat the porridge of Laba and the Laba garlic.

The ingredients of the Laba porridge can be arranged randomly according to the personal preferences. And it is not necessarily eight kinds of food , you can also use 10, or more, to cook to gather , in this way it means to celebrate the harvest of the year.

Today I cooked the Laba porridge with these ingredients : millet, rice, glutinous rice, black beans, corn ballast, black rice, red dates, lotus seeds, almonds, peanuts, mung bean, sugar and so on . These over10 kinds of ingredients soaked in advance and then I put them in the electric stew cup to cook in the morning . In the end , I add some ice candy and some fruit of Chinese wolfberry, then my Laba porridge is done. When you eat the porridge , do you feel the warmth in your heart and feel much more comfortable all over ?

So I suggest that if you are free , try to cook a bowl of porridge like this , after all this nutritious and healthy Laba porridge has the meaning of warmth, perfection, harmony, auspiciousness, health, cooperation, nutrition and so on. It can also bring good luck to you all the year round . why don't you cook it?

There is also Laba garlic that I must prepare it . Saying the garlic , I must go to the market to buy some , because only today , I can make it and today's Laba garlic will turn green, and it will taste good. So I'm going out to buy garlic! See you then !

今天是农历十二月初八，中国传统节日腊八节。从今天开始就正式进入了过年的节奏。家家户户开始准备过春节了。还记得那首儿歌吗？小孩小孩你别馋， 过了腊八就是年----- 。

那十二月份为什么叫腊月呢？原来呀，我们的祖先在过年的时候都有祭祖的习俗，""腊"与"蜡"相似，且同音，祭祀祖先称为"腊"，祭祀百神称为"蜡"。"腊"与"蜡"都是一种祭祀活动，而都在农历十二月进行，人们便把十二月称为腊月了。

腊八这天，中国各地的习俗也不一样，但都是大同小异。在我们东北，这天要喝腊八粥，做腊八蒜。

腊八粥的材料根据个人喜好，可以随意配置。而且也不一定就是八种，有的可以是10种，或者更多种，有合聚万物、庆祝丰收之意。

我今天做的腊八粥，是用家里有的食材，用了黄米，白米，糯米，小米，小碴子，红豆，黑豆，黑米，红枣，莲子，杏仁，花生，绿豆，冰糖等10多种食材，提前泡好， 早上用电炖盅做的腊八粥，冰糖最后放进去，再加点枸杞子，一碗散发着浓香的八宝粥就做好了。早上喝一碗，真是暖胃有暖心，非常舒服。

因此建议亲们，今天做点腊八粥喝吧，这样营养又健康的腊八粥有温暖、圆满、和谐、吉祥、健康、合作、营养、等意义。所以为啥不喝呢？

还有就是在今天还要做腊八蒜， 说到蒜， 家里没有了， 我的赶紧去买，今天做的腊八蒜才会变绿，才会好吃，还等啥？ 我要出去买蒜啦！
